The participants of the 2013 Global Campus Education:

Humanity is facing a global crisis of its own making. We live in a world in which human beings knowingly inflict cruelty upon each other and other living beings. Despite the millennia-long history of continual war, the inherent thread of humaneness, truth and dignity has survived within the human heart.

The Global Campus is a project that protects this thread of humaneness with research and study, developing the practical knowledge and the strength to build a strategic global alliance. It is an international experiential education platform, a network of peace projects and communities engaged in creating regional models of peaceful and regenerative cultures where trust becomes again the base for our life on this planet.

The Global Campus consists of ‘base stations’ around the world, local peace initiatives with a regional outreach that are in the process of becoming autonomous models.

We believe that establishing autonomous, decentralized communities of trust creates a humane future. We want to contribute to a planetary consciousness for it. We begin to assume global responsibility. From local crisis issues, placed and understood in a global context, solutions can be more easily developed on this planetary level.

The methodology and the political strategy of the Global Campus deals with the re-appropriation of the lost principle of community.

Trust is the greatest healing power that we know. Through the establishment of decentralized, autonomous communities of trust, the Global Campus helps to initiate a global system change and develop a humane culture in which the lives of the people is in accordance with the logic of life.
