Already today 5 international peace workers arrived in Colombia. Next sunday will start a peace pilgrimage in the Peace Community area where several neighbor families have been displaced by the paramilitaries in the last weeks and many attacks have been suffered by the farmers. Around 200 people will participate, among them several internationals and many members of the Peace Community. This 5-day pilgrimage calls the planetary community to bear witness of this reality and to act from a compassionate and political heart to change the situation and avoid more attacks against the farmers. After this political and communitarian action, will follow a cession of the Farmers University in the Peace Village Mulatos. Since 2009, this grass-roots university aims to gather knowledge and experience from several Colombian resistance communities and other supporters, in order to build autonomous peace villages all around the country. This is will be our path in the accompaniment of the Peace Community during the next 2 weeks. And of course, we still need your financial support to make this journey possible! Heartful greetings from Bogota. Laura vR, Rita, Irma, Laura C and Laure
