The Global Campus in Colombia is holding a two-week Youth Camp as a cooperation with the Peace Community of San José de Apartado. We invited the young generation to participate in creating the model for a self sustainable peace village in Mulatos. There will be several communitarian actions, such as building a roof for the school and geistig memorial of Eduar Lanchero, restoring the memorial chapel, building a model for compost toilets and a natural purification system for the black waters. There will be a media group documenting the process and learning what and how to transmit their experience into the world. Also various art, music and theatre actions as tools for creating trust among all participants. The concrete actions will be accompanied by geistig and social spaces to share and study together about what moves us as the young generation on this planet and how to become co-creators of our own reality in the Peace Community and in the world. This mutual learning camp will culminate with the Global Grace Day. For this day we will invite the whole community to celebrate together and to share the results of the Youth Camp. We see a very alive celebration of the harvest of this time and a joyful gathering in honor of life. For sure there will be live music and, together with the youth, we plan to create a song and a painted wall that make visible their vision of a future without war in this place. In a common ritual we will connect with the global alliance for Peace and the life force of Grace for reconciliation.
